 | The Cross Tenderizer was developed to handle cut solid portions of meat that require multiple passes through the tenderizer blades while turning the product in order to cross cut the portion. A variable speed driven, straight line, conveyorized machine. The operator places the portions to be cross tenderized onto the stainless steel belting, the product is then conveyed through the first set of tenderized knives. |
It is then partially turned and conveyed through the second set of tenderizer knives. The product is partially turned for the second time and conveyed through the third set of tenderizing knives; thus making a total of three tenderizing cuts with a partial turning of the product between each cutting of the knives while being conveyed in a straight line.
The Cross Tenderizer will save you labor and costly production time by eliminating the need for multiple passes through tenderizer and product handling to re-feed product for multiple cutting.
